How do you shoot to 500+ yards with an AR15?

We had an awesome Intro to Scoped Carbine class yesterday! This class lays the foundation for long range shooting with the AR platform. Students begin to understand their scope’s capabilities, ballistics, dialing vs holding, and how to read the environment.

The AR 15 is absolutley capable at intermediate ranges and understanding your equipment and ammo is critical.

We finished the day with a walk out challenge to 500 yards on the clock, with back and forth distances to stress thinking. The fastest time was 21.07". Nice job students!
