Advanced Defensive Handgun students really brought it this past weekend! We pushed hard and fast all day long to put fundamentals to the test. This was a moderately high round count class with one drill after another.
After a quick cold open drill and skills check, students turned up the speed, learned new positions, and even got a chance to work on defensive shooting with a moving robot.
The robot simulates a moving target that can come at you, run away or laterally, and even change direction. This allows students to react to an assualting target and work on accuracy when both shooter and target are caught in a gun fight.
That’s realism you don’t often find elsewhere.
