Fantastic Intro to Firearms and Defensive Handgun class today! Luckily the classroom portion made the blizzard comfortable and it cleared up right as it was time to head outside!
Students got an overview of use of force laws, the considerations for carrying a firearm, walk through of marksmanship fundamentals, and some dry fire in before heading outside.
We worked on the fundamentals on the range through a series of drills like ball and dummy, 10x10, dots, reloads, common malfunctions, and multi shot stills. It was great seeing everyone grow their skills, even the more experienced students. These intro classes are jam packed with info, valuable even as a refresher.
